What are the differences (and similarities) Hacker and Cracker?


     As a user's computer, of course we never heard the term Hacker and Cracker? whether it is or what kind of food?
What and who are they? At first glance, we might like to generalize between Hackers and Crackers are, but there is a difference you know, although slightly, but still no difference
Okay for short time, we sense the only surgical second nickname.



Hacker


Hacker is a person or persons who perform hacking activities (burglary / forced entry). If there is activity on a network computer, a hacker can break into the network and can make access to all users on the system connected to the network. In short, that's the definition of hacker.


Cracker


Cracker (not a biscuit you know) is someone who is trying to get into a computer network. They do piercing on passwords and network security


From the second definition above, then we can draw conclusions:


Hacker and Cracker equation:

Equally activity against network intrusion. Both are trying to gain access to all users in the network.


Differences Hacker and Cracker:

1. Crackers are usually aimed at doing damage, such as changing the user data, spread viruses, deleting data, and even change the look of the site (defacing). Cracker negative connotation than the Hacker.

2 .. Hackers usually only penetrate into the network and let you know that there are weaknesses in the network that has been successfully ditembusnya it, so can be improved again.
