Information Technology

Most of us may have frequent or even tired of hearing the term information technology or other words commonly referred to as IT or IT. Basically, judging from the phraseology, the term is composed of two syllables, namely technology and information.

Thus, the core of the notion that information technology is the result of human engineering to the process of delivering information from the sender to the recipient that will cause the transmission of information became faster, broader even longer in terms of storage.

In ancient times, to exchange information, present it in the form of human language. Thus, language is a technology that allows a person will be able to understand the information conveyed by others. The downside, the information conveyed through language was not going to last long, that is when the sender to submit information through the language / words only. Once completed, the information found on the recipient will be easily forgotten (can not last long). Another constraint is the limited reach of the voice. At a certain distance, not infrequently the recipient will receive the information is not in full / degraded or even worse, will disappear altogether.

The next stage is to deliver information through images. Through this model, could be more far-reaching. Another plus, this picture can be taken anywhere to be conveyed to others, and will also be able to last longer. For example, images of ancient human relics, still can be found at this time, so that people today can understand the information created by the creator. Next is in the form of alphabet. This form will facilitate the way to deliver information that will be more efficient than previous methods. For example, a combination of alphabetic writing will be able to explain an image whose contents told of a particular event, or other samples can be done with numbers, for example MCMXLII numbers can be replaced with the number 1942.

Finally, the human civilization can be said to have reached its peak, with the invention of printing technology that allows transmission of data or information can be done even faster. Examples are electronic-based technologies such as television, radio and computer (via internet) that will cause the information conveyed will be more rapid spread in a wider range and will be stored longer. So at a glance info on the history of technology and information. Hope can add insight.
